Can Body Air Cooling Conveyor
Air-driven cooling conveyor for transferring and cooling down tinplate can bodies
The can body air cooling conveyor, also called the cooling air delivery machine, is mainly composed of a stainless steel perforated air plate, air ducts and fans. Airflow is controlled by variable frequency drive, so cooling intensity can be adjusted to match different line speeds and process requirements.
| Model series |
|
| Can diameter | 50 to 99 mm |
| Can height | 50 to 200 mm |
| Flow capacity | 2271 to 6598 m³/h |
| Power supply | 380 V, three phase |
| Total power | 2.2 kW |
| Pressure | 1038 to 1693 Pa |
| Main frame material | Powder coated carbon steel |
| Air delivery plate | Thickness 2.5 mm, material 304 stainless steel |

Built with triple-row 304 stainless steel chains that are wear resistant, corrosion resistant, clean and hygienic, the can body cooling conveyor avoids the black oil and rust problems of traditional iron chains. The stainless steel chain is designed with a smooth, robust surface that reduces friction, protects the can body and maintains stable conveying speed and accuracy even at high line speeds.
Cooling can be achieved through natural cooling or forced air cooling, helping the can body temperature drop quickly and improving overall production efficiency. For taller cans, star wheels are added at curves to increase lateral stability and reduce the risk of tipped cans and line blockages.
