In can plants, the automatic unwrapping can lid feeder cuts and removes the outer paper bags from stacked ends before feeding. The system supports double-layer, multi-lane operation. The double-layer design provides buffer storage in advance, while the multi-lane configuration can supply one to three production lines at the same time, which increases feeding efficiency and reduces manual workload.

(with Manual Unwrapping)
The automatic can lid feeder with manual unwrapping is widely used in can making plants for reliable end feeding. The system consists of a lid hopper, lid conveying track and transition lid turret. The operator first removes the outer paper bag from the can ends, then places a full stick of ends into the hopper. From there, the lids are conveyed automatically along the track, pass through the transition turret and are fed steadily into the seamer.
The feeder can be designed so that a single operator supplies lids to one to four production lines, helping reduce manual handling while keeping can end feeding stable and efficient.
